1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using CManager ("we", "our", or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not install or use the App.
2. License & Permitted Use
CManager is a Powerful Dual-Panel File Manager for Android devices that provides side-by-side directory browsing, file transfers, archive inspection, media previewing, and a built-in Powerful Text Editor. We grant you a personal, worldwide, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the App on your Android device strictly in accordance with these Terms.
3. User Responsibility for File Operations
CManager operates locally on your device and gives you direct control over your files and folders across both panels. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- File Deletion & Modification: Any file or directory that you permanently delete (or remove from the Recycle Bin) cannot be recovered by CManager. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your important data before deleting, moving, renaming, or editing files in the built-in Powerful Text Editor.
- System & App Files: Modifying or deleting essential folders or configuration files on your storage may affect the behavior of other applications. Please verify file paths carefully before confirming any operation.
4. APK Package Installation
When you manually tap an .apk file inside CManager, the App hands off the installation request to the official Android System Package Installer. CManager does not verify, sign, or modify third-party APK packages.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any APK file you choose to install comes from a trusted source and complies with applicable laws.
5. Open Source Software
CManager includes open-source software components (such as AndroidX and Material Components for Android) licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0. Full attribution and license texts can be viewed inside the App under Settings → About CManager → Open source licenses.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
CManager is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of CManager shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or accidental damages—including any loss of data, corrupted files, or device issues—arising out of or related to your use of the App.
